
Dan Gabris serves as a trial attorney at Behr, McCarter, Neely & Gabris, P. C., with a primary focus on handling construction and real estate related cases. Over the span of nine years, he has successfully litigated more than 60 civil trials in both Missouri and Kansas, consistently achieving positive outcomes for his clients.
Throughout his professional journey, Dan gained invaluable experience in various roles at law firms across Missouri, working alongside some of the most esteemed legal practitioners in the field. He also had the privilege of learning under the mentorship of two Missouri state court judges and a federal judge in pursuit of his aspiration to excel as a trial lawyer.
For each year since 2016 up to the present, Dan has been honored by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, a distinction received by only 2.5% of attorneys in Missouri and Kansas. He is also a proud graduate of the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy (Inn of Courts), an intensive program dedicated to honing trial skills, ethical conduct, and professionalism.
In addition to his legal accomplishments, Dan has conducted numerous continuing legal education seminars on construction and real estate matters for a wide audience of lawyers in the St. Louis and Kansas City regions. He has also been a featured speaker at brokerage firms, contractor associations, and gatherings of real estate professionals, sharing insights on best practices and precautionary measures to mitigate litigation risks in construction and real estate cases. Furthermore, he has returned to his alma mater, Lindbergh High School, on multiple occasions to inspire students and provide guidance on pursuing a career in law, as well as offering advice on various aspects of life.
Dan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, graduating with honors (cum laude). He received prestigious CALI awards (given for the highest marks in the class) in both Legal Writing and Professional Responsibility, and also served as the Business Editor of the UMKC Law Review.
